Pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life, offering an opportunity to tune inward, listen to your changing body and to your intuition. Prenatal yoga allows you to take time for yourself and your baby, and to bring an intentional focus to your pregnancy. Through yoga, you will be encouraged to bring your attention to the physical, emotional and spiritual changes happening within. Postures, meditation and breath work will promote relaxation, ease potential pregnancy discomforts, and help you prepare for labor and childbirth.
In a calm and peaceful environment, we will gently flow through poses designed to strengthen the uterus and pelvic floor muscles, exercise the spine, improve circulation, and aid digestion. Breath work, guided imagery and meditation will promote a deepened self awareness to help you stay calm and present and to bond with your baby.
Connect with other expectant mothers through discussion of any joys, concerns or discomforts you are experiencing on your journey into motherhood. Open to expectant mothers at all stages of pregnancy.
